Keratoconus is a condition wherein there is progressive distorted bulging forward of cornea (black of the eye) resulting in poor vision.

Collagen Cross Linking or C3R is a treatment designed to strengthen the weak cornea and prevent

further forward protrusion. Here a dye is used to stain corneal stroma (interior of the cornea) and

cornea is exposed to a specific wavelength of UV light for a specific period.
